Ski Touring
We are looking forward to the 2024-25 ski touring season! With the arrival of new snow comes the thrill of exploring new places, enjoying beautiful views, and finding ‘secret’ spots where you can experience the great powder skiing that the Rockies, Columbia Mountains and international destinations have to offer!
Ski Trips 2025
We will be guiding some great ski touring trips for the 2024-25 ski touring season!
Japan – Jan 8-18 and Jan 19-29, 2025 (Book through Sawback Alpine Adventures)
Ski Traverses
There is little that beats skiing and climbing in the alpine on a long ski traverse. With the arrival of April and May come the best times to do ski traverses, and big ski mountaineering ascents or descents!
If you are looking for ski traverse options….we have done trips in the past to Mt Logan in Kluane National Park, the Northern Selkirks ski traverse, the Mt Clemenceau to Mt Columbia ski traverse, the Southern Rockies ski traverse, the Bugaboos to Rogers Pass ski traverse, the Wapta ski traverse, the Little Yoho ski traverse, the Bonnet-Drummond ski traverse, the Bonnington ski traverse and many other great ski traverses.

Ski Camps
In the past we have run multiple annual spring ski touring camps that have included camps in Frisby Creek, the Columbia Icefields, the Mons and Lyell Glaciers, the Argentine and Pyrite Glaciers and Nirvana Pass in the Coast Range. For photos from previous winter ski camps click here.

Avalanche Courses
With ski touring comes the risk of travelling in avalanche terrain. Come join us on an avalanche course designed to tune up your skills in navigating through avalanche terrain, making decisions about the snowpack, and responding to an avalanche incident.
Contact us for details on setting up a custom made avalanche skills course to complement the skills you already have.
